Ophir Falk argues the current US-Israel leadership pair is best positioned to remove Iran's government before Tuesday's election.

Benjamin Netanyahu's foreign policy adviser, Ophir Falk, called for the removal of Iran's government in written remarks sent to The Jerusalem Post. He argued that the current pairing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump is the right team to execute the task.
Falk made the pitch ahead of Israel's general election, scheduled for Tuesday. He framed the choice facing voters as a decision about who should lead the country during the final two years of Trump's term.
"Removing the genocidal Ayatollah regime in Iran is in the best interests of America, Israel, and civilization," Falk wrote. He added that the Trump-Netanyahu team has proven it is suited to do the job.
The adviser emphasized the need for coordination between the two leaders. He asked who would best cooperate with the President to finish the work in Iran and expand peace in the region.
Trump renewed his endorsement of Netanyahu on Sunday evening. The US president urged Israelis to support their prime minister in the October 27 vote, writing on Truth Social, "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!"
Falk contrasted Trump's desire to work with Netanyahu against the interests of Israel's adversaries. He stated that Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran want Netanyahu to lose. He also asserted that the alliance between the US and Israel has never been stronger, while Iran and its proxies have never been weaker.
In an interview with The Jerusalem Post on October 15, Falk said Israel was very close to creating the conditions for regime change in Iran. He noted that the final decision rests with the Iranian people. His recent comments did not specify a method or timetable for removing Iran's leadership.
